I am looking at the cruises in the summer of 2008. They all have an extra day at CC rather than a day at sea. Anyone done this before? Is a day at CC better than a day exploring the ship? Sorry for all the questions, but I am a newbie at DCL. Thanks

I usually try to book my cruises with as many at sea days as possible but an extra day at CC is sooooooooooooooo worth it!! On our second Magic cruise we weren't able to go to CC due to the winds. I say go for it!!! Have an amazing trip and tell MIckey I said 'Hi'.

Yes, the extra day at CC is worth it. I did the Magic double dip in August and we're booked for the Wonder double dip in 2008. Having the second day at CC gives you the time to do things you don't normally have time to do in just one day. And as the previous poster mentioned, if you have lousy weather for the first CC day, then you don't miss out since you go back another day.

I suspect that people will treat the day at Nassau like a sea day and not get off the ship.

The only issue that isn't resolved yet is what DCL will do about the activities that are only available on the sea days, like Palo brunch and things like beer tastings.
