Just got back from our trip on the Wonder.... and I am tired.

We are DS's ages 7 & 9, and DW and DH.

Our trip started out with a land sea package. We stay at the Poly, a nice but older hotel. If I did it again I would not do the land sea because I understand you can save some money by booking seperate land and sea arrangments. Also, more important then the money issue I would want the control of being able to chose where we would stay. No problems with the land sea package however, everything Disney set up was perfect.

We took the Disney bus to the port. It picked us up at the Poly around 11:30 and we arrived around 1:00. Next time I might consider using a private hire to take us to the ship a little bit earlier. The DB was clean and the driver very nice.

Check in was a breeze, It took all of 10 minutes to get on the ship. A very nice touch was how the crew announces our family and applauds for us.

Our room was ready and after getting rid of the carry ons and checking out the room it was off to eat.....

Regarding the food on the DW ( I am from New Orleans and I know good food) everything was wonderful. I did not have one bad item. Tip, ask your waiter, he/she knows whats good or not. Let them guide you. Food for the kids came fast and they usually left us midway through a meal for the kids programs. About Palos, it was great, Palos compares to any fine restaurant in New Orleans and worth every bit the extra money. Yes, we left and additional tip over the $10 per person because DW gets that $10 per person, not the waiter.

The childrens programs are great. My DS's ages 7 & 9 did not want to leave. Our rules were they had to eat breakfast and dinner with us everyday. Otherwise they could choose what to do.... and they chose the OC and the OL just about everytime. The clubs are spotless, and the staff makes Super Nanny look bad. Kat from the United Kingdom is the best!

Ports. Did not get off at Nassua. We have been there before and the kids wanted to stay in the clubs. We just enjoyed the ship that day.

Castaway Cay. Wonderful, what else can I say. I have been to many many many beaches all over and have never experience anything like this place. Our CC day had some rain and a lot of the trips were cancelled. So, this being Disney, they made it right by coming back (no sea day) to CC for anothe day on Wednesday. The weather was perfect and it was a great day.

The ship is wonderful of course and very clean, our cat 4 room was nice, a little tight with all of us in there. The split bathrooms are a great idea. Overall the best cabin I have been in in about 15 cruises.

Entertainment - Wonderful not one bad show, don't miss them.

Overall a great cruise experience, not one bad thing to complain about.

Enjoy.
