Wonder Cruise June 15th(part four...Skippy the Toad dies at the hands of Sasha)

Today was our day at Freeport and we opted to stay on board. After a wonderful breakfast and lunch and a bit of swimming we decided to head to Mr. Toad's Wild Races. Little did we know what an event this would be! Camilla (the future wanna be Queen ..toad.. of England) had had enough of Skippy. For years, Skippy the toad had beaten Camilla at the races and would brag about it to all the socialites of England which really made Camilla look bad. Knowing that she now had a chance(in her dreams) to become the future Queen(toad) of England she knew that Skippy had met his time and that his days were numbered. Earlier in the day, Camilla the toad met up with Sasha in the Quarter Masters Arcade in fron of the "Claw" game and paid Sasha quite a lot of cash from Bingo money that she had won the day before along with money she had made in Nassau braiding tourist's hair at $50 a braid. The deal was that Sasha was suppose to take out Skippy before the races started in return for the money. Sasha, desperately wanting the money made the "deal". The time came and all the young tourist children on the Wonderous ship showed up to participate in Mr. Toad's Wild Races. The kids were chosen and the races were going to begin. Sweat was dripping from Camilla's brow and Sasha was running around acting so innocent while wearing the official Mr. Toad hat. Sasha was to show all in attendance how to help move the toad along the rope to win the races. Sasha gives Camilla a wink, yanks on Skippy's rope wildly and kills him. His legs went flying through the air. Shock and disbelief were on everyones faces. Skippy was done for. Out of the races forever. Camilla was so happy and could hardly contain herself. We then had a moment of silence for Skippy and then the races began sans Skippy. Guess who came in first.....Camilla (the toad) future wanna be queen of England. She was hopping around like a mad woman(toad). Camilla was now back in the social graces of the upper crust of England and knew that her future seat as Queen toad of England was now a sure thing.

We then attended the Family Animation "learn to draw Mickey" session and had a ball. Alot of fun was had by all and we learned alot about the beginnings of Disney and the Animation process.

Dinner was awesome as usual and then we attended "Hercules". My dd laughed so hard. The show is spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a definate must see for all.

A lovely day was had by all!!!!!!!!!

I'm SO glad to hear someone else say this. This is our favorite show onboard and I know a lot of people dislike it. We look forward to it and my DH is often caught singing the songs.

I can just see Sasha in a MR. Toad hat.

BTW are you puppies Greyhounds or whippets? The one on the right is a dead ringer for our whippet.

They are both greyhounds around the 65lb-size. 4 & 5 years old. Whippets are cute, though! Like mini-greys! The only one I ever met was a real spark, too! She was so jumpy and hyper! Is yours? Did you rescue her/him?


BTW...my husband thinks he's Hercules as he sings, "I Can Go the Distance." He says it's his theme song! I knew I married the right guy!!!

He is six years old. We got him from a rescue society after he'd been in the pound three times for running away when not on a leash (DUH!!!)

Everyone in the neighborhood loves him, he is such a sweetie. Hyper one minute and napping in the sun the next.

Rescuing them is such a wonderful thing to do! They are beautiful dogs (40mph couch potatoes!). Mine sleep A LOT! But when they get going in the yard, it still amazes us at how fast they are!
