Wonder 1/14/2013 Bahamian - 5 WONDERful Nights

We booked everything already, back in September sometime. We will do Palo for brunch, our first time, we have never done Palo on our other 3 cruises. We booked our Cozumel excursion to the Ruins and a stingray thing in our other port.I don't think I will do a spa treatment this time, too expensive and actually the last two I had on the cruise I wasn't that impressed with. I like sports massages (deep, deep tissue) and I never see it offered. Does the Wonder have the rainforest thing? I don't remember that in the past, but wasn't looking for it either. If they have it, my husband would love it!! This time around, I think we will use the Adult only section more too, and Cove Cafe, we totally missed that on our last three cruises!!! LOL! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!

Woo! Thanks for the reminder! I had no idea I could book stuff today. We have always wanted to do the Palo brunch, but I've never been on a cruise long enough. Super excited that we got it booked today!

All this talk about the brunch makes me want to book it even though my DH does not eat seafood..there are other stuff right..and I just LOVE it! lol

We're the exact opposite! I hate seafood and my DH loves it, but damn if I don't want to go to that brunch in the worst way!

Ok, I booked the brunch. My DH said he doesn't mind going. Yeah! When is everyone booked for? I did the first sea say at 10am.

We booked first sea day, but I can't remember if I booked 10 or 10:30....I will log in and check!

Hi everyone!!! That sounds super nice for the brunch. What does first sea mean? I'm a cruise rookie and trying to learn the terminology. We are not allowed to book anything until the 31st of this month even thought we bought it back in September. :-(

Hi! Palo only offers brunch on days that the ship does not have a port stop, so the day we are in cozumel, their is no palo brunch. First sea day is the first full day on the ship without any port stop. Palo is offered for dinner every night. Hope that helps!

Yes!! Thank you!!! My Dh is going to go boggle when he hears me say that terminology! Lol!!! I can't wait to try Palo!! We got our DVD for the cruise and it looks so amazing!!! I cant wait to start planning!!! any tips on what we should do first? its a bit overwhelming scheduling things, but we don't want to miss anything. Disney is really trying to sell these cruises out of MIA, my DH saw on the highway a ton of signs and there's a ton of ads on the radio too. I hope they don't completely sell out.

I've been on the Wonder years ago but for my fiance and DS15 and DD13 this will be their first cruise.
We are all very excited!!
Doesn't look like too many of us on this cruise though...

Welcome! I know it is a very quite roll call so far. The prices have not dropped yet for this cruise so it must be selling ok. I see the one at the end of January now has reduced pricing.
We are so looking forward to this cruise and hopefully meeting up with some of you. Perhaps a meet and greet will be organized at some point.
Two more months to go!!

Checking in here too...First Time cruisers. Traveling with DH, DD (5), DS (3 - turning 4 during our cruise), DS (2) and bringing my sister along as official babysitter! :)

If everyone on here local so far or are there any non-FL residents traveling in?

We are coming from Canada and I have to say I'm a little peeved that now they have a Canadian discount offered for this cruise..we could have saved some big bucks!
Welcome to the group!

Non-local here.....from NH.....already snow on the ground...brrrrrr, looking forward to the sunshine state!

Yay! I called Disney and was able to still apply the discount...bit instead of getting a refund I decided to upgrade to a verandah cabin. So I actually ended up having to pay a little bit extra but that is ok..still a great deal! I'm getting very excited.

Sunapee area!! So cool! We'll be on the same cruise! I was thinking of doing "local" stuff, like maple sugar candy for the FE, lol, but that's no biggie to you, lol!
