WOMEN: How do you take care of sweat under your uhm....upper body area?

another bra solution is Decent Exposures - they have a dri release version that is wicking... and they make custom sizes - I am between standard sizes and was able to have them make a custom size based on my measurements.

I can't use powders either, they just don't work for me. I found an amazing product though called Chafing Relief Powder Gel. Somehow it creates a thin "barrier" that keeps the area dry for me. It's more expensive than powder, but it's well worth it IMHO...no powder all over, no clumping or mess at all. It's made by Monistat and it's advertised as a skin protectant for chafing and "moisture movement" in delicate areas such as thighs, bikini area, under chest, ect...I love it.

This thread has made me happy that I've always been mammary challenged (for lack of a better phrase) and am still relatively "perky" in my mid-30s. :)

Wow lots of great ideas for me to try. As for the bras, I'm a difficult size to find. Stores do not carry my size, but I will research the ones mentioned here. Thanks!

In the mean time, I will try the monistat & other powders mentioned & report back. Thanks again!!!

Where do you buy this "Chafing Relief Powder Gel"?

Sayhello

I will echo this endorsement...I have really sensitive skin and have no issues with this product. I used to get almost a welt where my bra would rub/stick when at WDW in the September heat...not anymore! I've found it in the pharmacy area at WalMart or Target in the U.S. and in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Oooh, Shopper's Drug Mart! I hope it is in Lawton's too because I get a killer discount there. Thanks for this info and thanks to the OP Mickeyflower who started this thread! :cloud9:

I use this on my thighs quite often. It is AMAZING. It will def help with any chaffing. I also carry travel packs of the Wet Ones wipes in my purse and make pit stops and just "wash and dry" through out the day.

I'm not sure it would work for that area but I use Drysol mild for my pits and LUSH's Silky Underwear powder everywhere else as needed ;D

Okay, now Im in trouble. I have never heard of LUSH, and just checked out their site, WOW! Lots of really great stuff, and great prices! Another product to add to my try it list.

I looked at the bras mentioned, and they do not come in my size, just as I figured.

Glad you started this thread. I have this problem with "the girls" during the warmer months, too. I wouldn't go with cotton bras because cotton locks in the sweat.

Gold Bond powder has been ok, but I want to try that powder gel stuff.

So today I'm using the Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel. The tube is 1.5 oz and was $6 or $7 at Bed Bath & Beyond. I know they carry it at Target & Walmart, but I just happened to be in BBB when I saw it. It is completely fragrance free and I only needed a very small amount to go under my gals. So far it's working great!

Ladies, you will find this stuff in the feminine care isle near the Summer's Eve stuff.

Hey if I send this review into the DIS, ya thing I can get a shot at the Prize-Ma-Tron?:lmao:

I NEED to try this. Looking for it on my next Target trip :thumbsup2

LUSH, LUSH, triple LUSH!! They make a coconut deodorant powder that works well and doesn't clump. I like the Vanilla Puff Powder best because it smells awesome! I used to work at Lush and VPP is one of the things I still buy even without my employee discount. I have tried all the deos and powders they carry (except the one with patchouli cuz I don't want the girls to smell like hippies!) and Coconut and VPP work best for me (I am 'upperly blessed' as well). If you have a store near you they will give you samples. If you order online, ask for specific samples in the comments box when checking out. No guarantees on samples with mail order, but it's worth the try!

HTH,
Hillary
