I am SO with you on this. My DH and I never celebrated this day. You are right -- it is a saint's feast day. I agree with you about the card companies -- and add to that the florists, jewelers, and restaurants. To me there's nothing special about getting flowers delivered to you on the same day that millions of others are getting them also. I'd rather get them when I least expect it and for no particular reason at all except that he thought of me.
