Woman found unconscious -- Hulk Rollercoaster

A 35-year-old woman was found unconscious in her seat after riding the Hulk rollercoaster at Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure. Universal called the Orlando Fire Department.

The Orlando Fire Department transported the woman to Orlando Regional Medical Center Hospital - Sandlake. She was said to have no vital signs.

Universal says the ride has been shutdown by security personnel and is being inspected. It is unclear when the ride will reopen, if at all today.

Thats awful news lets hope that this poor woman is gonna be ok and make a full recovery i hear she is critical in hospital.

There is always an element of risk when you go on these coasters they very intense they will certainly put your body through it and different people react in different ways. If she had a pre exisitng medical condition that she did not know about experience like the hulk could have easily triggered something off.

I am a big coaster fan and go on ones like the hulk mutiple times within a day but if i feel the slightest bit ill i avoid the big coasters becuase i know you can come off feeling a little worse for wear.

I guess this incident will make you think twice about going on the big coasters if you are feeling even the slightest bit ill. So everyone take care and take notice of the health notices by the coaster.

Local news has just reported she suffered a heart attack between the time the ride stops at the final brake and rolls into the station. She had no vital signs when removed from the ride. She did have vital signs at the hospital. The ride may reopen tomorrow morning.


Let's hope she makes a full recovery.

Officials think heart problems caused a woman to become unconscious on one of the rides at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando.

The Martin County woman was found unconscious in her seat after riding the Incredible Hulk Coaster at Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure theme park on Tuesday.

Relatives identify her as 34-year-old Leslie Killer of Jensen Beach. She remained in critical condition at Sand Lake Hospital on Wednesday morning. She was on a respirator after arriving at the hospital with no vital signs.

The ride was shut down for inspection and won't reopen until Wednesday, park officials said.
