..."WOLFS DANCE ORLANDO"...NEW "THE WOLFS DANCE CHRISTMAS" Our video Christmas c

Yay! I love your videos! If I had known you were in SF, I would have come up to meet you! I am in San Jose (50 miles south). When were you here? :3dglasses

We LOVE your family videos!! My 2 year old gives us play by play for the Branson one when your oldest is trying to jump off the cliff... "C, no do it" then it's "Yes mama, C, yes do it. Yay C" She usually asks to watch it before her afternoon nap by saying "Watch yee hoo?!" Just noticed your Christmas one today and I had tears rolling down my face laughing so hard!! Thank you for sharing your Christmas cheer with us!! xo

Love the video's....I showed this to my wife back in Aug right before our trip do DW. So of course she wanted something similar....So I took the camera to DW, took like 8 hours of video, took a post production class at my local Community College, got Final Cut Pro and went to work.

Im still working on the whole project but created a "Preview" of our vacation, it was a lot of fun....thanks for the inspiration....Ill be posting it soon...

We were so inspired by your videos we took a lot of footage during our September cruise and WDW trip. I just put some of it in a Christmas video newsletter here on my blog if you want to check it out. http://www.lifebycarolmarie.com/blog
We had so much fun making it! Thanks for being an inspiration:)

We were there for an ophthalmology conference the last week of October. Beautiful city you got there!

I read this to the family at dinner the other day. Your 2 year-old was our family's highlight of the day.

Wow. 8 hours of raw. That's a lot to deal with, but it has its advantages. Even with my 2 hours, I was always wishing I had just "one extra shot" by the time I was editing. Let me know what you think of Final Cut Pro. I just stepped up to Final Cut Express for the Christmas video. Steep learning curve, but it's been worth it.

Just watched your video. (Nice blog, BTW.) It was great! Your photography skills are way ahead of mine. You have a beautiful family. (I have a question...your dolphin excursion at Chankanaab...it looked like you were the only ones around. Did you get a lot of one on one time there, or did you just shoot it to avoid the crowd? Looks like a blast, we may do that soon.)

Love your Christmas video! You are an amazing photographer!
We made a Christmas one too this past week!

Great job! We just watched this at Grandma's house with the all the cousins around. You had us laughing the whole time. Looking forward to more! I think the Carsons and Wolfs need to have a home video throwdown. Right now, I think I'm on hiatus until next summer's vacation...but the kids always seem to pull us back in for more.

Thanks! Your photo skills are awesome! We actually booked the royal swim on our own, not through the cruise ship. There was just one other family and ours in our group (8 people total) I did have to avoid them a bit. There were some groups that were a lot larger for the less expensive dolphin encounters. Not sure if we just got lucky or if they limit the number on ours since the dolphins actually do more work with us. We were there when Chankanaab opened so there wasn't a big crowd around. It was more crowded later but not tons of people. I think your kids would love it. They are great ages for it. We were surprised how easy the foot push was. I thought it would take a lot of balance, but it didn't. Our 9 year old almost even got her toes out of the water! I am going to be making more videos just of WDW and then just of the cruise. We actually did some singing to other songs and I wasn't even thinking of a Christmas video when we shot the footage. Making these videos is addicting! I can't wait for your next one:)

Well you have inspired another family to start videos.
This is out 1st one - and I had to do it on a PC - can you believe that? LOL
I used Ulead Video editor - pretty easy to understand but hope I learn more for the next one. Thanks for your inspiration!

It is not showing up on you tube yet but I figure it takes a bit to get posted.
I'll check back later.

Great job! Don't underestimate your editing software. You actually did a couple of things that iMovie won't let you do. Thanks for the shout out! Our whole family watched it this afternoon and got a big kick out of it. And where did you get that version of "Favorite Things"?

It's Family Force 5 - Christmas Album

Lady at Lifeway (our closest Christian bookstore) recommended it.

Thanks

I still have one to do from our Disney trip and hubby is trying to get on Biggest Loser so I need to make that one too.

Our family has loved watching all of your videos - and everyone else's videos that you have inspired. We decided to give it a try ourselves while we were on vacation over Thanksgiving and while it's just my "sloppy copy" (as my girls would call it), I'll post a link. It's not as great as yours but it has some fun stuff. http://thewardfamily6.shutterfly.com

I use a Mac at work but have a PC at home - I like my Ulead software better than iMovie but that just may be because I've used it more.

I had four miniDV tapes of footage to work from and it was really hard to decide which 95% of it to get rid of!

Thank you again for sharing some of your vacation memories - I know we all hope to see many more!

This was great! You've got a lot of crazy people having a lot of fun. That's more difficult than mastering any editing software. (Our Branson video, which included two other families, was the most difficult...trying to coordinate twenty people into doing the video. Everybody had a blast, but it brings its own challenges.)

Very cool, Jamie!! :thumbsup2 Thanks for sharing. I really had a big smile :teeth: on my face, watching you all have the fun you did. Again, thanks.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I wasn't sure about making it public but your videos, and the other videos people have been nice enough to share, have given us a little pixie dust and helped us anticipate our own trip so we're trying to pass a little bit of that on.

We did have quite a crazy bunch - our family of 6 (four girls, one bathroom - yep, we're crazy), my brother's family of 4, my parents and we spent a day with my stepdaughter's family of 5 (they live in Florida).

Somehow, on one of the last days of the trip I lost the SD card that I had been using for most of the trip so all of my pictures were gone. I can't tell you how glad I was that we had been planning to do a video after seeing yours and I had taken way more video than I usually do (4 tapes, extended play). It really turned out to be a blessing so thank you again.

We're planning a trip to Branson this summer - it was planned before we saw your video, honest, we're not following you around or anything - so maybe we'll try another video if we ever get this one finished!

The Wolf family videos has inspired our family to create one on the next trip to Disney. They are my favourite family.
