AWESOME - my 9 yr old son even loves it and he doesn't really like most music or dancing. Still trying to talk him in to doing one with me (daddy should be easier to convince although he may not dance as well as you). We took video at DW for a video but son didn't look overly happy still may put it together just for fun. Thanks so much for the chance to watch your family having so much fun and the inspiration for ours!

It's performed by Relient K, a contemporary Christian band, who put out a Christmas album a couple of years ago.

I showed quite a bit of the family disney on thanksgiving - we were hangin around waiting for lunch to be finished so I pulled it up to watch & everyone loved it. Of course they asked me who it was & I said oh just some strangers from my message board!

Considering how long this thread has gone on, I don't feel like any of us are strangers anymore.

It's pretty easy to notice that our 13 year-old isn't crazy about the dancing at all. He agrees to it now, knowing that he'll still get to be himself in other parts of the video.

Yes! That was Upwards basketball. His first practice for the new season was just last night. Both of our girls are doing Upwards cheer. Great, great program.

Just remember, nowadays there is good software that's relatively easy to use. iMovie for the Mac; Pinnacle and MovieMaker for PC. If you've got the footage, you can definitely learn a lot of the basics in an evening or two. (I stepped up to Final Cut Express for this one...steeper learning curve, but a lot more flexible.)
