Was just looking over the .pdf for the 2011 dining plan from Disney's website. While it has WPE listed as a quick service place for lunch and dinner, it doesn't list breakfast.

Do they not serve breakfast any more??? :sad1:
Or do they not take the DDP for breakfast any more?? :sad1:
Or is it just a typo in the brochure?

they took it the first week in Jan so I'd say yes they are still included. We got a meal, a fruit bowl and a drink. But the breakfast rules have changed this year quite a bit and are extremely restrictive so I'd check with each place before ordering anything so you aren't ordering out of the plan for breakfast.

That's great news! Yes, I'll be sure to ask specifics, but this helps w planning. The breakfasts were so huge there before that i doubt we'll miss the extra drink entitlement. But you said you got fruit? Awesome!

A year later and I actually have the same question(sorry for bumping an old thread up), has anyone tried using the qsdp at WPE for breakfast recently? It's not listed for breakfast in the 2012 dining brochure and we were looking forward to frech toast and breakfast pizza :)

We did in Oct. 2011 on our last day. 2 Belgian waffles and an omelette. My DM enjoyed her omelette so much that she went and thanked the chef who made it. We were lucky enough to be seated in the kitchen area for that meal (and one other as well.)

Here's the sign they have explaining what you get for a CS or a SC.

And here was our meal-

I asked for my fruit and whipped cream on the side of my waffle, otherwise they serve it nicely done on top. :)

Has anyone eaten at WGP for breakfast on the dining plan since 01/01/12? We are going in May, staying at POR and planning (hopeing) to go to WGP for breakfast one day since they have amazing breakfasts. I know it isn't listed on the dining plan brochure for 2012, but wondered if that really has changed.

I have the same question too!!!! It's our favorite breakfast place. As soon as someone hears please let us know! :surfweb:

The breakfast pizza there was awesome and my wife love the french toast, so hoping it's still included.

I just called and spoke with them because we are going next week. It is for sure still part of breakfast!!! We have never eatten there can you guys give me an idea of what to expect? We are having a low key pool day our first day so we thought this would be a great breakfast (esp since we are staying at POR and can take the boat :)

Thanks for posting. I was wondering if breakfast was still part of QSD.

What would you like to know?

If you are taking the boat you'll want to get off at the stop it makes by the Rainforest Cafe/Capt. Jacks.. It's the closest to WPE. It's a short walk to WPE.

You will walk up to the counter and place your order. The menu is located over the cashiers.

There is also a menu outside that has descriptions of the food. Once you order they'll give you a number to put on your table and the server will bring it to you.

There are a couple long tables located in the kitchen area just to the right of the counter. This is also where the soda machines are. If you are lucky, and want to, you can sit here amidst the kitchen action. There is seating for 8-10 people (or it could be 6-8) and 2 tables. If you want to sit there and there's room at a table but someone else is seated there ask if you can join them. Last year we had a family of 4 join us and it was nice having someone else to talk to.

Inside seating area by kitchen.

There is also an indoor seating area and an outside area. When the weather is nice the outdoor, covered, patio is very nice. It's even nice in the rain if you can get a seat away from the edge.

Breakfast is served from 9-11 and I'm thinking you won't find it too crowded for breakfast.

After you are done don't forget to refill your beverages if you want.

Here is the fill your own soda dispenser.

As I posted above, at breakfast you'll get an entree and beverage. At lunch or dinner you'll get an entree, beveragea, and dessert. I also posted our breakfast above.

Ask if you have any more questions. Also I reviewed our QS meals in review linked in my siggy. I review both our meals at WPE last year.

Dizneydaz, thanks so much for the pics and info :goodvibes
Do you know if they have a kids breakfast menu? Also do you think they would modify an item? i.e. dd 12 would only eat a plain omlette, do you think they would do this?
Thanks again to everyone for the information in this thread.:goodvibes

We ate there for breakfast in February and used cs credits. We had an omelette and potatoes, and the French toast and fruit, and two drinks for 2 cs credits. It was awesome!!!

Enjoy!!!

I don't know if they have a kid's menu for breakfast but I'm thinking they don't since they don't show it which means kids can order any of the breakfast items.

Since they cook to order I'm sure they would just make a plain omelette. Or with any of the items they do in the 2 omelettes (cheese, etc.) I ordered our waffles with everything on the side and it was no problem. Even though WPE is a CS it's really more like a TS except that you order at the counter.

That omlet is calling my name, I'll just have to get over to WPE in October, I've mnver been there for breakfast.
I also like the made to order omlet in POR :hippie::cool1:
