Weeks ago I reserved Ariel's Grotto dining for the first WoC show for my upcoming DLR visit. My DD18 convinced me to change our reservation to 7:40 for the second show at 10:15. She thought it would be more magical to end our day with WoC right before heading to our room at PPH and she hoped that taking the second show would allow more families with small sleepy children to see the first show. (I think she underestimated how sleepy we are going to be after arriving from CST the day before and opening the park that morning!)
Now I am concerned that the second show is not such a great idea: We'll have to stand in line listening to the first show before we even get to see it. Does that sort of take some of the magic away?
And, I'll bet it is a madhouse trying to maintain your place in line while thousands of the first viewers flood out?
Lastly, it's too bad that WoC planning seems to be so stressful. We are not good at aggressively defending spots or getting confrontational with interlopers. We are willing to arrive early and stand in line, though!
Reassurance, please...
