Hey all, I will be at DL to view WoC and I was wondering if there was a "seating map" that labels each section, etc. Anyone know? :cool1:

copied from woc superthread

***disclaimer*** this is what i observed last night (6/15) in no way is this official. hopefully it helps give some an idea.

black line- this is where i waited at 7:00 with my yellow fastpass from picnic meal. around 7:05-7:10 they let a first wave of people into the general viewing area. colored dots represent viewing area colors. in front of each color section are cast members that check your fastpass. after passing "black line" we waited in line at yellow for approx 15-20 min before we were let into our final viewing area. yellow had 3 tiers. bottom (wet zone) 2nd tier then 3rd tire where i was. behind my section there was a row of benches where it seemed wheel chair guests were able to sit. to my left, (3rd tier yellow section) there was a roped off section. i believe this was also wheelchair viewing.

And FWIW, WOC is at DCA not DL. Make sure you go to the right park! :)

allen2oo3, that's a very helpful map! It's been rumored they will change viewing areas and they might sometime, but that's how they were for us on opening night too. IF there is a green area, it's in front of blue, I believe--at least, that's where Mike Wazowski was hanging out during the pre-show. ;)

Do you actually get to sit or is it standing only? Thanks!

Does anyone know if you can line up to enter the viewing area from the other side of Paradise Pier, by the Golden Zephyr? Seems like it would be less crowded on that side.

There was most definitely a green section during opening night. I was in it. It appeared to me to include the board/wet section and the center of the viewing area and seems to have the "Preferred Dining" guests.

i am going to guess that since I saw every "dome" light in the entire area display every color we have discussed, that they will move the colored sections around so the guests do not know what section they are in until they get there that evening.

I am going to make a posting showing my experiences.

"Preferred Dining" guests were also in the circle fountain area between blue and yellow. That's where I was; there were definitely no green lamps where we were!

Thanks allen2oo3 for the map.
I know my trip isn't for 10 mo & 2weeks (countdown...going...way...too...slow :hourglass), but out of curiosity would the far left yellow on the bridge also be considered a "wet zone"?

I agreed with Eeee-va, the prefered dining viewing area was around the fountain area between the blue and yellow, I have talked to some people that had the dining package that night that they were behind the circle fountain.

I am not sure I understand... if I am not in any of the star areas, can I still see the show from other places in the park? I am thinking it is something like the Bellagio fountains in Vegas, where you can see them from all angles even though the best view might be front and center.

You sure can. Looking at the map provided the colored dots are the areas that require a pass. The rest of the area is open viewing. Of course if you look at the map you'll notice that there are attractions around the water as well. So you can't watch from everywhere.

I've watched it from in front of California Screamin'. Great view of the fountains from there but you can't see the projections on the mist screens at all. So I wouldn't recommend it for your first-time viewing of the show, but once you know the show then watching it from the Boardwalk area would be fine, I think - you'll get a little different perspective depending on where you are. Some parts of the show will be slow (where everything is taking place on the mist screen).

We had preferred dining and chose to stand just above the circle fountain area, we were up the stairs, just to the left of the circle fountain area at the rail. It was perfect for our 5 year old, no blocked view at all, and we were back far enough to have a good full view.
