WOC reserved viewing area and pre-show

Will the viewers in the WOC reserved area be able to see the pre-show? What time does the pre-show start? If we don't do the reserved area, I am planning to stake out a spot for the first show (DD is 6 so not sure if she will be up for the late show), but I sure would hate to miss the preshow. TIA!

Yes, if they are seeing the 9PM show. See Carnivale of Color Only To Perform Before First World of Color Show. And there will not be any "staking out" spots - Disney is making it clear they will not let people camp out for spots. You can get a Fastpass or a dining reservation.

Cool, thanks for the info! Not sure I understand about not being able to stake a spot out if we're not in the reserved area, although from the sound of it, we may want to do that anyways. Can't wait to hear what people's experiences are. Thanks!

It is because it appears there is no non-reserved seating in the viewing area.
