WOC dining view location ; Carthay or WCT?

Before the WOC dining changes (before June 15th), we always had the "preferred" view for WOC. Now there seems to be some confusion between the viewing locations for Carthay Circle WOC views (called "center stage viewing") and WCT WOC views (called "premium viewing). Has anyone experienced the dining view sections for Carthay and WCT now? I've heard that the Carthay viewing is close to the VIP section - which I hope is not true! I spoke to Disney Dining, and they said that Carthay viewing is similar to the "old" view - hence the "center stage" and WCT dining viewers are behind the Carthay dining viewers. I also spoke to Vacation Planning and they said they were not sure. Does anyone here have recent experience? Please help, before we arrive in 11 days! Thanks!!!

I want to know too because I have to start making my dining reservations in just over a week. Call me crazy but my family is actually quite partial to the splash zone for some reason. We all get a kick out of it. So would it matter if we went down to the splash zone with either the WCT or Carthay? But I also want to know if the prices are different at the Carthay for the WOC show if you go to the first showing rather then the 2nd. I thought I heard something about this.

mary jo posted about this and on the woc super thread i think the map on the last page was updated. it looks to me its not in the splash zone and not center stage its off to the right from what it seems to me. I though when they said center stage it would be in the middle. I am confused on this as well but mary jo said it had good viewing (m,aybe because the further back you are the higher up you are so those in front aren't in your way?

I hope so im small my sons small and I want to see well this next time. Good luck tho. I did hear if you cant see and get there 15mins before show time they will try move you if you ask and get you the best spot.

DD15 loves to get splashed. I was planning to do WOC twice with CCT and WCT, hoping to get in the centre viewing area and the centre splash zone. Now I am not sure which restaurant will give me which area. I think I will have to ask the CM there for instructions and wish for the best. We enjoy dining at the TS restaurants. So the WOC FPs are bonus to us. Yet I still would like to figure out which night to go to splash zone and which night to stay in the preferred viewing area. Unfortunately there is not sufficient info to make a well-informed decision. Just have to wait...
