WoC Dessert Party sold out for 1st week of Dec?

I just tried to book a WoC Dessert Party and the only date I could get was for December 8th. Which is not good because that's the night we're planning to see Fantasmic (we have the BB Dining package). I wasn't super hung up on the Dessert party but with the favourable reviews here I wanted to at least have the option! I didn't realize it would sell out so fast

You could always book a dining package, and keep an eye out for Dessert Party cancellations. As I have been saying, I think the first week of December is going to be very busy. This is just another indication. As the weeks before and after have yet to sell out.

That's very unfortunate as I always thought it would be a low crowd time (I realize crowd calendars are not accurate for DL). I'd move Fantasmic if I could but it's only showing the one day we'll be in the parks for some reason.

It used to be a low crowd time, as I have been going at that time for several years. It seems like the past 3 years it has become progressively busier. I think part of it is the APers trying to get their holiday time in before they get blocked for the season. But definitely keep an eye out for cancellations, as some people make reservations for several things and dont decide until later which ones they will cancel.

Historically, DL only presents F! on weekends (Fri-Sun) during the non-peak season. It should be presented nightly closer to Christmas, but during early December it might remain on the weekends-only schedule (despite the popularity and increase in crowds). The AP blockouts begin December 15-18 (depending on the AP level), so the weekend of December 8-10 is the last chance some AP holders will have to be in the parks until after the holiday season ends. Good luck and, as the PP said, keep checking for cancellations.
