WOC and TSMM

Just wondered how the line for TSMM is during WOC? We will ride Toy Story first thing in the am one of our days. However I thought if by chance the line isn't as insane while people line up and watch WOC that we would try it again. Has anyone does this and what was the wait time? Thanks.

It's not going to work the same as riding space mountain while thousands of people are watching the fireworks.

TSMM is closed during WoC. All of the Paradise Pier attractions close at I believe 8pm on WoC nights.

Plus with multiple WoC shows not that many of the guests are being removed from the park flows at a single time to make a major impact on the ride lines.

We have been in the school of thought that didn't want to wait in line to get in to DCA at opening because we are busy at DL during that time. We have found afternoon to be a good time to go on TSMM because the line always got shorter then. However, I don't know if DCA is now more crowded at that time due to people going there for WOC FPs and meals which would cause more people to get in the TSMM line. I think much of our touring style will have to be re-thought out. Anyone know if the wait times for TSMM have been longer than 30 min in the afternoons?

Not as of last week!!

TSMM stayed open last week DURING WoC. They did not close until 11 pm per the CM at the front of the queue. All the attractions in PP last week closed down between 8:20 - 8:40 depending on the queue (I asked, and this is what I was told). TSMM did not even have a sign like the others indicating they were closing. Everything except TSMM was down officially at 9. We rode TSMM and got off at 8:45, and there was a 45 minute wait after us, and we also waited 45 min. So I don't know if this is a new development or not, but I was surprised!

FWIW.... According to "DL Wait Times" today (remembering it's day after a holiday AND a work holiday for many), the wait times were:

2:59p 40 min
3:10p 30 min
6:37p 50 min
6:48p 50 min
6:58p 45 min

Again, not sure how much weight you can put on this because 1) Holiday weekend Monday 2) No clue how accurate it is, but...
I think it DOES show a pattern if nothing else. If I remember, I will check tomorrow and see if it's a similar pattern (not much change in wait time over a 4 hour period).

TSMM wasn't closed down during WOC the week of June 21st.
Right after the 10:15 WOC show ended we got in line for TSMM and the wait was about 20 minutes. That was less of a wait then at 10 am when the park opened.

July 4, TSMM was open during WOC. I was on a mission to take pictures from the backside of WOC from the "alternate" PP viewing areas. It was our down fall, in that as we passed it, my DH says, "TSMM is open and there's NO LINE". SO inside of leaving before the end of the 9 pm WOC and the fireworks, we rode TSMM.
