:o I was wondering....an undedicated studio, is that one that is not attatched to a one br villa and a lock-out, one that is attatched? Also wondering since we're going with 3 small families in Nov., we'll be calling in April 1st for Nov. 1st ressies for three studios. What are the chances of getting three studios vs a studio att. to the one br villa. WE'd prefer 3 separate but will live with the combo. Never been before (1st time home). Also does the studio portion of the combo have a separate entrance, no through the one br (my family will be late nighters ,while the other family will not be and they'll need the bigger room)
Thanks again for any help...sue

You can only request to receive a non-dedicated studio, this is not a specific category you can book. It will be based on availability when you check-in and not on booking. The studio that is attached to a one bedroom (making a 2 bedroom) does have it's own exit door to the hallway.

I'll see if I can help with your questions. There are 2 types of 2 beds. a dedicated, is always used as a 2 bedroom, the second bedroom has 2 queen beds and no mini kitchen. A lockoff can be used as a studio and a one bedroom. There is a door that connects them, that can be closed. Each room has access to the outside hall, therefore having a way to come and go without entering the living room of the one bedroom. The lockoff studio has a mini fridge and microwave and small sink in the studio portion. It also has a queen bed, and full size sleeper sofa. I'm not sure if I understand your question about the 3 studios. If you have reserved 3 studios , they will not be connected, you will probably be lucky to just be on the same hall together, there are no guarantees about how close you'll be to each other. Each studio will be as stated above for the lockoff configuration. d We went with my parents in Dec. we chose the lockoff. That way they could make there own coffee in a.m. and my kids could sleep in the living room without being bothered. They could also come and go as they please without entering the 1 bedroom portion. At any rate VWL is a beautiful resort, I hope you have a great time!

:Pinkbounc you're explanation was perfect......I guess I phrased my ? wrong. I meant to say if we couldn't get 3 separate studios(calling 4/1 for 11/1/2004 ssr members...our 7 mo window I believe), we'd settle for the 2 br combo. Your explanation fits our situation exactly....so either way....no worries!
