WL Woodsview.. Any room recommendations?

Hi All,

Boyfriend and I are taking a quick trip to Disney this Friday to use our PAPs one last time before they expire. We're staying at WL woodsview and was wondering if anyone can recommend a room number. In past I had read that some woodsview rooms look out to the Castle... but when I spoke to CRO, they mentioned that the trees had grown considerably and so the Castle is no longer in view from these rooms. Can anyone confirm this?

I just got back from WL and I think that the advice you got was right. It looked like all the woods views could not see the castle. Ask for 5th or 6th floor with courtyard view! We stayed in room 6153 and it was awesome! We overlooked the pool and geyser. We could also see the boat parade every night at 9:35pm! Let me know how it works out for you!

You may want to find the two Wilderness Lodge FAQ threads - the old one has over 150 pages, and the new one (New and Improved -if possible - Wilderness Lodge FAQ) both have lots of discussion about which rooms to request, views, etc.

T-N-A, we stayed in room #2004

It was right near the stairway (did not find it noisy), and was very very close to the boat launch to MK and easy exit to the pool area as well

Had a great woodsview and an oblique view to the drainage/otter pond as well

The flipside is that it is at the end of the hallway (almost) and about as far as you can be from the lobby
