I just booked a room at the WL for February, and it's a woods view room. I know I've read about these rooms before on these boards, but I can't seem to find the info again.
Can anyone tell me what kind of view to expect with a "woods view?" Can I see the MK fireworks from this type of room?
If anyone can give me specific floor/wing locations to request, or just great woods view rooms that you've stayed in before, that would be great. Thanks!

Depends on which side of the lodge you're on. We were in 4034 and could see the fireworks over the trees. (nice corner room too). However on the other side of the building (overlooked the villas' pool but we'd booked "woods view") we could see the Electrical Water Pageant.

I believe the room number we were in was 3210, which overlooked the otter pond, and was considered a woods view. We could see the fireworks over the trees and the lights from the Contemporary Resort at night. It was a great room! Queen and bunk beds, the maids were terrific about setting up "surprises" for the kids too.

Approximately 5-days before leaving, request a room on the Magic Kingdom side of the resort, 5th floor, and as close as possible to Bay Lake. This will get you away from the loading docks and smokehouse, and enable you to see the fireworks from your balcony. Enjoy! :)
