We are planning a trip for early December. Right now, I have 7 nights at POR with dining. For about $500 more, we can move to WL for 6 nights, but cannot add the dining plan to that deal, so we would pay out of pocket for food. (The $500 difference factors in $150 a day for food for 2 adults, 1 child).
My biggest concern is going without the dining plan. We like doing the character meals and eating at table services restaurants and those can add up fast. I like the freedom to pick whatever restaurants we like regardless of the price and will having to actually "pay" the bill at the end take away from the experience or will staying at WL (which we love) outweigh all that?
