Can anyone tell me an approximate size of a studio at VWL compared to a regular WL room?

Just wondering if there is a little more room to move around in a studio. I cracked my legs several times on the bed frame at WL last year.

Thanks!
Terri

I don't know the actual square footage sizes but...the studio is definitly bigger by a little. Add to that the fact that A. You can fold up the sofa bed and it gives you alot more room and B. you will have a kitchenette, it is just going to be a step up from a regular room at the lodge for sure;)

I've stayed at the WL in a regular room and it didn't seem to be any bigger than rooms I've had at POR and FQ. The atmosphere of course was MUCH better but room size was more like a moderate -- I've heard though that it's partly because of having queen beds in the smaller room that make it even more cramped. I'd pick the DVC room over a regular room though - definitly::yes::

The rooms at WL are 340 sq ft and the studios at VWL are 356 sq ft.

While the size is almost the same, the Studios at the Villas have 1 queen bed and a sleeper sofa (full/double) where the WL rooms have 2 queens or a queen and bunks or King...
When to sofa is folded up, you have more usable floor space and it 'feels' much larger. You also get the kitchenette.

at WL you can get the great courtyard view - it is very lovely.

at VWL most of the views are of the woods - still very, very nice - but I don't think can compare with the courtyard view.
