WL upgrade question...

We will be at the WL, courtyard view, in December.

I have read that people have been upgraded from woods view to courtyard view, and I was wondering what level or view you would be assigned if you are upgraded.

We are happy with our choice, and we aren't looking for an upgrade - I was just curious what the next step was.

I am nt sure about upgrades in the WL... AKL is great for them though!

We are reserved for a CY view in the WL too...

I paid for a standard room and got upgraded to CY.

We stayed at WL twice. We booked standard view both times and guess what we got both times???

Yup, standard view.

The first time we stayed at WL we had reserved a woods view room. It ended up being very close to the 'service area', and during the night we could hear trucks making deliveries. The next morning I mentioned this at the front desk; they said they understood and moved us to a courtyard view. It was a good move on their part because I've booked courtyard views on all our following stays at WL.

Hey - are you sure you don't travel with us? I read about all of the nice upgrades but in all our years of going to WDW we've never been that lucky!

Our first year (2002) we booked woods and were upgraded to courtyard. Last year we booked courtyard because we liked it so much. This year we have a Standard booked. I honesty don't care if we get upgraded. We're just happy to be going back, and since we've had courtyard twice it's no big deal. I love the lobby and will request a lobby view room for Christmas.
