WL to MK --- boat or bus - in Jan.

Which will be faster in January?

I recall the boats having "open sides" --- which may make for a chilly ride. Is that right?

the boat from WL to MK has open seating in the front and back. The center of the boat is enclosed. The launch that runs the WL/CR/FW loop is open and can get chilly on windy days.

there are 2 types of boats.

the type mentioned above with enclosed middles, but they also have the tug boat / steam boat replicas that are 100% open to weather

Faster--depends on how well your crystal ball is working. At WL, I can only pick the mode of transportation that just departed! Yup, I show up at the boat dock at the MK boat is pulling away or arrive at the bus stop to see the back end of the MK bus. Sorry to be no help, but you need a little luck to get the fastest route, imho. Enjoy!
