WL to FW

What are the transportation options from WL to FW? Just boat or bus also? Is it possible to walk? Where does the boat or bus drop off at FW and will we need to take internal transportation at FW to get to the gift shop, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, or Trails End?

Yep, you can walk. It's very lovely. You come out near the stables, near Pioneer Hall
You can boat, boat drops you at the boat dock, off near Pioneer Hall
No Internal Transportation needed to get to HDDR or Trails End

No idea about the bus, have never taken it from WL to FW

Wow, that’s great! Approx how long is the walk? We walk from BWV to DHS and always enjoy the walk and seems to save us time vs waiting for a boat.

By car, Google Maps shows the distance as 1.1 miles from WL to Pioneer Hall at FW. The Nature Trail would be slightly shorter than the main road since it's a slightly more direct route, so maybe .8 to .9 of a mile? The Nature Trail starts over by the villas* so you need to add the walk from WL to the start of the Nature Trail.

* ETA: I haven't walked the trail since before the start of all the construction in front of the villas, so I don't know if the trail starts in the same place or if it is even still there. Can somebody confirm?

Not sure myself. Part of the beginning was blocked off during construction so we walked the bike trail, which would be there. I'm not sure how long it took us, no more than 20 min I'm certain.

There is an “internal” Fort bus that stops at the WL bus stop and goes to the Fort HDDR, TE, bus stop. Not positive but I think it’s the “yellow” Fort bus.

You are correct on the Yellow Route for Fort bus, but when it hits WL, it should be changed to Fort Wilderness. I know MK does run a route from MK, to WL, to Pioneer Hall (FW), then back to MK ( if need to get back to MK from HDDR or Trails End, wait for bus that says "All Resorts via MK"). Yellow Route runs from Pioneer Hall to WL, then back to Pioneer Hall, then through FW making all its stops.

Yes there is a bus that goes between WL to FW. Once at FW it drops you off by HDDR. We have ridden it several times.

Is this a regular bus that can handle ECV's/wheelchairs that runs between WL & FW or is it one of those small internal buses? Just trying to figure out our best way to get from WL to the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review show with mom in an EVC. We can do the walking path there....but don't think I want to walk it at night. I believe they run the small boats between WL to FW as only the big boats can accommodate EVC's on them.

Yes, all Disney buses, including the FtW internal shuttles, are at least 40' long and can carry 2 wheelchairs or ECV's.
