wl to ft wilderness ??

hi, we will be staying at wl and wanted to maybe go over to ft. wilderness and have dinner and do the hayride. i was wondering if the bus that picks you up at wl and takes you to ft wild. drops you off at the front or the area near bay lake that has all the activities. thanks

Yes the internal bus between Wilderness Lodge and Ft Wilderness Campground will drop you off at near Pioneer Hall. The Wagon Ride leaves from Pioneer Hall $8.00/Adult $4.oo/Child.

Hi,

Would anyone know if there is a bus from the Wilderness Lodge that not only goes to Fort Wilderness, but also travels within Fort Wilderness?

We'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge and will be visiting the campfire program in Ft.W, so I am wondering if there is one bus that will take us from the Wilderness Lodge to a stop near the campfire program/Meadows Trading Post? Or would we have to take one bus from WL to Pioneer Hall in Ft.W, then a second internal Ft.W bus from Pioneer Hall to the campfire program/Meadows Trading Post?

If I'm not mistaken the orange bus route runs from the Settlement Outpost down the middle of Ft. Wilderness to the outpost depot and then on to The Wilderness Lodge.

So if you hop the orange bus at Wilderness Lodge and stay on the orange bus as it enters and runs thru the Ft. Wilderness stops it will end up at the Settlement Depot where the Hoop De Doo and Campfire happen.

The campfire and Movie are not as far as Hoop Dee Doo. Get off the buss at the buss stop and check the map for the correct stop. Still go orange buss but the driver could tell you the correct buss stop to get off. I believe it is around the 900 loop but I am not sure.

As far as I remember, you could also take the boat launch from WL to FW. It's the same launch that takes you to MK from WL.
