WL Smoking rooms

I'm sure your non-smoking neighbors would rather you didn't. Our last WL stay, people on the next balcony smoked non-stop. All evening. We couldn't even leave our balcony door open because of the stench. Thankfully they checked out so we didn't have to switch rooms.

There isn't an official policy on smoking on the balcony of a non-smoking room unless you are staying the AKL and have a savannah view room - definitely not allowed to smoke on the balcony there because of the animals.
Some will argue that the room includes the balcony. Some will argue that it's an outdoor area and Disney resorts do not have designated outdoor smoking areas. It's really a personal decision. Your neighbors may mind, they may not. Ask when you check in, but even then the answer you get will depend on who you ask. The best answer I can give you, is just to do what you think is best for your family. You will not get into any sort trouble either way.

Really I was just wondering If I booked a smoking room if that would get me on the 6th floor? I don't smoke.

I could be wrong but I thought the smoking rooms were on the 5th floor. I smoke and requested a standard smoking rrom and was upgraded to the 5th floor courtyard view. I was on the inside of the U shape building and could see the pool and lake. I was worried b/c I had heard they didnt have standard smoking rooms but I was lucky that they upgraded me to a floor that had smoking and we got a higher room class. Good luck!

Also, I did smoke on my balcany as it was a smoking room!

We had a 6th floor non-smoking room at WL! It was a courtyard view and we could see the MK fireworks and Electrical water pageant every night! I love WL!
