WL: Should We Do It?

I called and got rates using the Ga Residents code and got a quote of $270/night for the WL Concierge. The only thing holding us back is we have a 9mo old. We are a little nervous about taking her to Disney. Any thoughts?

We took ours there when she was that age with a 4 year old. We didn't have any problems.

One piece of advice though - get a crib. We thought we would get a bunkbed and put her in the bottom with bedrails but she kept climbing/falling out - I was a nervous wreck.

You'll love ti there - have fun! It's my favorite resort of all.

$270 sounds good for concierge. It will be so convenient to go down the hall to get breakfast, snacks, etc.

The WL is beautiful!! You are probably driving down, so I would valet the car and use it for the parks other than MK. For the boat to MK you can just roll the stroller onto the boat.

Definitely bring a pack and play for your room. I think they do have them at WL, but I would bring sheets for it.

WL is a beautiful resort.

We took our DS when he was 5 months old and had a wonderful trip. The WL does have pack and plays and sheets for them.

This is my favorite deluxe resort for several reasons. I love the fact that it is so compact. You don't have to hike miles to get from one part of the resort to another. The service is excellent and so is the atmosphere. There is a boat launch to the Magic Kingdom and another one that goes to the Contemporary. I think you are really going to enhoy it there.

we took our son to WDW (now 17 years old) when he was 6 weeks old....and then again when he was 6 months old....and then every year thereafter....

we had a very nice time, every single time......i wouldn't hesitate to take a 9 month old...
