WL renovation

I noticed a few times that is was mentioned that there is going to be a renovation project in Jan. at the WL. Does anyone know what this is or if it is true. This is our first trip to WDW and are staying at WL, I don't want to be in a big mess or have it be unenjoyable due to renovation. Just thought I should check. Thanks!

We are splurging for the WL next summer and I would love to know if it is going to be remodeled. Anybody?

Hi, last June I spoke with one of the managers at Wilderness Lodge.He said the Lodge will under go a soft-ware change starting after the first of the year. This is the information I posted last June.

Starting in January 2006 the Lodge will start undergoing a complete renovation of all soft ware items. They will start on the 7th floor with new bedding, carpeting, and wallpaper. The Club Level rooms will have upgraded items similar to the style of the Lodge now but a little nicer then the other Lodge rooms.

Not sure if the new items will be a totally new design, as they want to keep the look and feel of the Lodge. We will have to wait and see.
