This is our 2nd family trip to WDW. We will arrive on thursday and have to leave Monday morning. Would you spend the extra on the PR or go WL. My kids loved the WL last time and want to go there again.

But since we won't be there as long I am wondering if we should go PR so we have the monorail? Even though 2 years ago we had no problem with the WL transportation.

HELP........thank you

One of the reasons that my family loves WL is that it's a fantastic resort that's at the lower end of the price range for deluxes. If you book at WL, you won't be sorry. As for transportation, the bus to MK should get you there in five minutes, and the boat takes a little longer, but is very scenic. I never had a problem getting to the other parks. If you really want to try something different, I'm sure you would love the Poly. But WL is an amazing choice. :thumbsup2

For me it all depends on the time of year. I prefer WL for Winter Months and Poly for everything else. Both are excellent resorts, and although I haven't actually stayed at either resort, I've done enough research on both to actually feel like I have stayed at both :rotfl2: . My family and I will be staying at the WL for the 1st time in Jan., and we visited the Poly in July of 2006.

It's a tough call, but since it's June, I say go with the Poly. You can't go wrong with either choice though. Good Luck.

Mseg16222, I'm a proud member of the "I Love To Sleep Around" Club, so I say try a new resort. ;)

I've stayed in all of them and honestly haven't had a bad stay yet. Yes, each of the resorts is different and most have different levels of amenities, but I knew that ahead of time, thanks to my research on the Internet (of which the Dis was a large part) and thus set my expectations accordingly. In your case, you're talking about staying in one Deluxe Resort (WL) or another Deluxe Resort (Poly), so your choices are basically the same (the level of amenities should be basically on a par). So, again, I say mix things up a bit and try a new resort.

No matter what you decide to do, I hope you have a wonderful vacation.
