WL or Poly: transportation

How is the transportation from WL to other parks or TTC like? We are there in the week before Thanksgiving and I am trying to decide if it may be easier to stay at Poly because of access to monorail. I want to stay at WL because its newer and better themed, but I donot want to spend a long time waiting for the bus.
I notice there are lots of people who have stayed at both WL and Poly, so could you please help me compare the two transportation systems. How long did you have to wait for the bus to TTC?

I don't think you can beat Poly for the monorail and short walk to TTC.

That said, the transportation system is evolving and there seem to be less rather than more buses at TTC.

We love WL!!! - but we liked it better when Buses went to Poly and GF - now the buses and boats also go to FW !!! Hate it!

I have not stayed at either resort, but have been reading a lot about both. I think it is accurate to say that the general opinion is that the Poly has the best transportation, while WL has the worst.

Poly has the monorail and the launch to MK, buses to the others, plus, its proximity to TTC, makes all destinations really easy.

WL has been criticized greatly because of the sharing of its transportation with Fort Wilderness.

The Poly for sure. We just got back. The transportation was one of the things that make it the perfect place to stay. It was great to jump on the monorail and go to the other resorts for dinner. Get to the MK quick also you can get to Epcot easy. Even when we took a bus to MGM an AK or the water parks we got so lucky. I know this is a fluke but every time we went to the bus stop a bus was pulling up and it was the bus we need. This happened everytime the entire week. It got to be a joke when we got close to the bus stop and a bus was pulling up we would start taking bets it was always our bus. I have been reading this board for awhile. We had ressies at the Wl and these threads make us change to the Poly. We heard the trans. at the Wl. was terrible and we didn't want to take the chance at wasting to much time on waiting for a bus. We were not dissapointed in the Poly. We love it
