WL or CR?

That's a tough one for me, because even though the convenience is so great at the CR, I really don't like the garden wings. They just lack magic When are you going? I've seen the tower come out with great rates with different promotionals. Maybe you could book the garden and watch for the promotionals -- the tower rooms facing the MK -- now <i>that's</i> magic!

My husband, 2 teen boys which will be 16 and 15 when we go. We are not going unitl November 4 - 10, 2005. We just want to have a great time and maybe a little relaxing while we are there and would love to keep everyone entertained!

It would really be nice for your teenagers to be able to walk to the MK!!! But it's early. Book one or the other and look for deals on the tower and think about changing. (I'll bet Nov would be a good month for them). I have to tell you, stepping out on that balcony and having the castle so close -- -- that was unbelievable!!

I just returned from a stay at the CR garden wings. I loved it. Don't let anyone tell you that they lack magic or tranquility - quite the opposite.

The WL is a beautiful resort, with fantastic restaurants, but its pool is much too crowded, its rooms too small

Have they upgraded them at all. I stayed there about 4 years ago and my room was really awful (carpet stained and not laying flat) and housekeeping was really bad. Maybe I just had an isolated bad experience.

The Wilderness Lodge gets my vote. I love this resort for so many reasons, but especially that it is small and compact.

Although I have never stayed at the Contemporary, some of the garden rooms look like they'd be quite a hike from the main building.

I'd choose WL over a CR garden wing. I think I might even chose it over a tower room too. Rooms are slightly smaller at WL, but overall, I like the ambiance of the resort so much that I'd forgo the larger room and (slightly) easier commute from CR to stay at WL.
