WL Nov. 30 - Dec. 7...booked???

I just got off the phone with a very tired, bored sounding CM at CRO. He said that all standard and woodsview rooms were booked at WL during Nov. 30 - Dec. 7 and that they still had a few courtyard views available for rack rate. Huh??? What's going on that WL would be so full already during low season?
Also, I asked if he'd check to see if I'd received an e-mail code I may have inadvertantly deleted and he said that no code had been sent to me. He added that a new batch is ready to go out, but I'm not included in that, either! (I'm in KY, just north of Nashville).
Man, I hope something opens soon!

Hopefully something will open up for you. I would keep trying if that is where you really want to stay. I did check online and that is all that is available. We are going the same time period as you are planning. I booked my rooms at least a month ago because there had been talk on the boards of WL getting full. I think WL is just a popular resort for this time period. Lots of post about how this is one of the most nicely decorated resorts for Christmas. Best of luck with your planning.

I checked expedia for your dates. They have the woods and courtyard view available.

Thanks, I'm not sure I believed the CM 100%. I REALLY want to stay at WL, but can't afford rack rates...may keep my fingers crossed that I can rent points for VWL, which we did in January.

I have 3 standard view rooms booked at the WL from Nov. 26-Dec. 6. I booked them in March.

I'll be going Sept 19th for 8 days, but we just chose a standard view room. I figure we won't be in the room much anyway, more $$$ to spend on fun and stuff.

If you like the fancy rooms tho, I say go for it! Nothing like vacationing in style!

I only asked about Saturday Dec 4 but got the same response, only courtyard view available and that only at rack rate.

It's quite possible that only one day (e.g. the 4th) is gumming things up for you. You might ask about e.g. Nov 30-Dec 3 and see if you get any availability. If so, you could book that hoping to get the rest later, with a split stay as a backup plan.

I booked the night of Dec. 4 exactly a week ago today, and all they had was courtyard and concierge available then.

As most Floridians book early for the week-ends I'm sure it's only one night that is blocking the request...call back and do a split reservation.
