When we stayed at WL in 2001 we stayed in a room that was on the 4th or 5th floor that was on the end of the wing and faced the lake. It was basically straight back from the boat dock. We could see the "geyser" and had a nice view of the water pagent. I was hoping to try and request a similar room for next week (we booked Woods View). Any ideas on room numbers that might fit this description?

We stayed in a WL junior suite last december that overlooked the dock and if we stretched from the balcony could see the geyser - we always heard though!! It was room 3003 - I think if we were up higher we could've seen more but it was perfect for us. The room next to us was a regular room I think so maybe it was 3002 or 3001?

Hope that helps!

Which boat dock are you talking about. The boat dock for the boats to MK or the one where you rent boats next to the beach. I just got back and had reserved a woods view. I requested a room at the very end of the wing facing the lake. Since I am unsure if the rooms over looking the beach are considered a woods view I expected that IF I got my request it would be near the dock for the boats to the MK. This portion is behind a bunch of trees so the view of the lake is obstructed. I did get my request. I had room 2001. I could see the boat dock and lots of trees and little bits of the electrical pagent and the geyser if I leaned out a bit. However my balcony and the one below were solid "stone" balconies so you could not sit and see out. I could only see the tree tops when I sat. Room 3001 has some stone on the balconey and 4001, 5001 had regular balconies.

My fault. I'm talking about the MK boat dock. We were right next to a Jr. Suite that was on the corner and had a stone balcony. So we may have had 3003.

Question answered: I found the trip report I wrote and it was Room 3002!

Thanks for the jog!
