WL-July-What to book-?

Ready to call CR and book WL for July. Will be purchasing dining pkg and need tix. Should I book room only for now and hope for a code or book room, tix, dining; can a code be added to a package? (I guess my ? is-do room only & pkg codes come out together?) Would I be better off booking room only and hoping for a room only code and add dining? Sorry for the confusion; not sure what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

As I understand it, the best course is to book everything you think you'll need (i.e., include the dining & tix) now and then the code could be applied to your rez later, assuming availability later, if/when it came out. If you book room-only now, it's possible you might not be able to add on the package later. I'm certainly no expert but got that advice from several people, including a Disney CM on the phone.
