WL Is there a fridge in the room and can I request turn down service?

Not sure about the turn down service. We've never had this given to us at WL, but have had it at other resorts, without having to ask. It may just be a matter of which housekeepers you get. But then, this is just not something we request.

However, all WL rooms should have a fridge, included in the cost of the room. If there's not one, just call front desk and they'll bring one right away. I've stayed there after the policy went into effect that every room would have a fridge, but there wasn't one in the room when we checked in. We just called the front desk and they brought one up within an hour or so. They just hadn't gotten around to stocking every room quite yet.

Yes and yes. We kept stuff in the fridge - from leftovers to wine.
All you have to do is ask and you will get turndown.

Go to the WL FAQ page to get more answers - page 1 has LOTS and LOTS of info.

Turn down service can be requested at any of the deluxe resorts, just call housekeeping. They'll put you on the schedule and time/staff permitting, they'll be able to take care of you. Only those guests on the club level are guaranteed the service.

And the fridge will hold a gallon of milk. I know most people say it will only hold a 1/2 gallon, but ours fit a gallon no problem....along with a dozen 1/2 L bottles of water and some coffee creamer. Just take out the top shelf.

Not to hijack the thread but why do I want turndown service? Am I missing out by not asking for it?

In my experience, turndown service at WDW has been nothing more than one of the corners tucked down on the beds and maybe a mint or two put on pillows.

It may be important to some people, and it is kind of a nice touch for appearance's sake, but I could take it or leave it, personally.
