We finished up at Chef Mickey's and were all so excited to start our day. This was really the BEST character meal we've ever done. The kids were good and had a blast and the cake thing was just the icing on, er, the cake! LOL
So from there our plan was to head over to Epcot. So many people say that Epcot is no fun for kids and they sometimes skip the park altogether when traveling with little ones. I know it's not the most "kid friendly" park, but there really is tons to do there for everyone. We were looking forward to seeing all of the flowers and topiaries because the Flower and Garden Festival was going on. We've actually been to Disney two other times during this festival and it's always breathtaking! Here are some of the beautiful topiaries that greeted us when we got there...
Jason ran ahead with Brendan to get FP's for Soarin' our all time favorite ride! Aubrey was tall enough to ride it last trip and we were pretty sure Brendan would make the cut this time. It would be our first time on it as a family. I was so excited, and so was Aubrey. She remembered the ride and the orange smells! While daddy was getting our FP's, Aubrey and I headed over to Nemo. Here is a picture of Aubrey while we were waiting for dad and brother. You can see how many beautiful flowers there were everywhere! It's truly unbelievable!
The boys made their way to us and I tried to get the same cute picture of Brendan in the flowers. He was not having any of that! I would not normally post a picture of the back of his head, but I must point out what he has in his hand...
It's his tube of quarters. Remember how I said before that once he found it, he wouldn't let anyone hold it or take any change out of it?? Well, he was still holding onto it and it makes an appearance in lots of the pictures. So funny!
And here is Aubrey posing with Nemo...
I also got a cool shot of the monorail infront of Spaceship Earth. I love trying to catch the monorail in cool shots. Ok, so funny story here. I had noticed on our first monorail ride that i was painted blue. I didn't read what was on it, I just noticed that the color seemed different. A friend of mine texted me later and told me to look for the new "Tron" monorail and try to get a picture of it. Aparantly, Disney had one of the monorails painted for the 10th anniversary of Tron. I didn't see what the big deal was with Tron, but whatev. So, I realized that that must have been the monorail we were riding on. For the rest of the trip, I kept trying to get a picture of it for her. I would either see 10 regular monorails in a row with no Tron or when the Tron one passes, I didn't have my camera ready! So, when we got home and I was going through our pictures, I noticed this shot that I took outside of Nemo...
Yep, that would be the Tron monorail! How freaking funny is that! The whole time I was looking for the thing and all along, I already had a picture. LOLOLOL!!
We got through the line pretty quicklly and the kids loved it. I love this ride too. I think it's amazing how they put Nemo and the gang in the actual fish tanks! What a brilliant idea! Gotta love Disney imagineers!!!

We hung around for a while after the ride. The kids had fun in the little play area. Here is Brendan looking through the periscope. Isn't that what this thing is called?? We had never taken the time to look in them before and it was pretty cool. There were live sharks! Which was really some kind of little video but it still looked real and the kids thought it was way cool...
This is one of those things that we took a minute to notice. So many times we are rushing from one place to another and not taking a moment to enjoy the little things. That was what this whole trip was about. The kids played here for a while then it was time to move on, but not before I was able to get a pic of Aubrey with this guy...
It was so funny because Aubrey was aparantly standing in line to get in Bruce's mouth. I didn't even know that's what she was doing until I heard her calling for me from across the room. I turned around and there she was, in waiting to have her picture taken! LOL She had asked another mom to help her up! She was determined, I guess!
From there we made our way over to Figment. This poor ride gets such a bad wrap. We haven't done it in so long because I just keep hearing how boring it is. Well, let me just tell you... My kids LOVED it! Aubrey still talks about "Fig-a-ment" Here are daddy and Aubrey...
We hung around in the imagination lab afterwards and the kids loved this too. Here they are "conducting"... Please make sure to notice Brendan's pressed penny tube...
And here they are dancing around on the instruments. When you stepped on the picture of the instrument, it would play that sound. I was dancing around on them too. Pretty cool! Again, notice what is in his hand...
On our way out of the ride, we had to stop and watch the jumping water. This is so cool. I remember going on my first Disney trip in highschool with our youth group and these fountains are one of the things that I remember most. I took about 30 pictures of the water jumping around. Don't worry, I'll only share one of them with you
We had had a busy moring already and it was time for a treat. We headed over to one of Epcot's best kept secrets, Club Cool! Well, I guess it's not really a secret at all but there never seems to be a crowd in there! We LOVE going in there and tasting all the yummy Coke products from around the world. And then there is the Beverly. Oh Beverly, how I love thee. I don't want to spoil it too much for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about. But for those of you who do, here are our obligatory Beverly pics. First up, Aubrey...
And then daddy...
OMG... I LOVE Beverly pictures! In fact, let me go back and see if I can find some more...

Oh, here's another one. It's of my sister from our May 2009 trip. She would KILL me if she knew I was posting this. Don't tell...
