WL Concierge

Hi!

We are booked for December - 8 nites. What can everyone tell me about Concierge? What is the lounge like, when should I contact IPO with requests? Do I need to wait until I am 90 days out? I am so excited, it's all I can do to get some real work done.

You will love it! The WL is amazing. They are currently updating the lounge. Expanding it, so it should be amazing by the time you get there.

I would call at about 105 days out (now w/the new ADR system 90+10) to talk to someone. I had to track someone down b/c I never received a phone call. I was kind of upset about that but they were able to come through with everything I wanted including the illuminations cruise. But if I hadn't called and called, I don't think I would have been as lucky. I might have just fallen through the cracks. This was really the only flaw w/the whole thing. Everyone was great.

Marco (the WL CM) was amazing. He was able to help us out a lot.

Just got back from WL concierge a couple of weeks ago. We really liked it I have a thread with my review and pictures. Here's a link to it:

I emailed the pre-planning office about 4-5 months in advance. And then I kept in touch with them when I had changes and additions to our reservations. You don't have to wait until 90 days out to contact them.

The concierge lounge is now a room where they put the food out in (the food used to be set up along a railing), and then there are tables and chairs, and sofa and chair groupings, all along the railing of the 7th floor that overlooks the lobby. We really loved sitting there while we had a quick breakfast or snack, taking in the atmosphere of the Lodge.
