My training is coming along slower than I hoped. Got in three short walks this week and some stationary bike work. The back and hips have held up relatively well, so plan to try a 3 mile long walk (for me) tonight. If all goes well, I'll try to start increasing distance again. As I am running out of room to keep reworking my training schedule, I am hoping ground control gives me an all systems go and I don't need to alert "Houston" to any more problems. I figure my former cheetah-like speed will instinctively kick it ... OK, I really had the speed of a turtle with arthritis, but a man can dream.
