Good afternoon, Wish team!! I'm going to check in before the week gets too crazy!
Mel--I can't believe it's already time to start talking colleges. Time flies!! I went to school about 2.5 hours away from home in northern Ohio. Even though I stayed in state, I went to a private, Christian college, so no break for my parents (or me, all the loans were in my name). It was nice being that far from home, yet still pretty close. I cried every day the first semester of my freshmen year and every time my parents or Stephen left after being up for the weekend or I left home after a break until the day I graduated. But it was really good for me to get away on my own and grow-up a little. I'm not using my degree right now, which my dad loves

, but I'm still really glad that I went away to school and majored in Communications/Broadcasting, I learned a lot about life while in college and besides my major was pretty fun.

Tell Kayley good luck!!!!
Bill/Lynnda--That cake is fabulous!!! I love it! Did you ever post pics of Timmy's cake? I'm going to second Craig, Lynnda you need to be business for yourself.
Craig--Sorry you are still without electricity! Don't give Lesley a super hard time though, I understand the quest for having perfect hair and know how important that is! As an aside, I think it's really cool that you and Lesley vacation together. I've never been anywhere alone with my Dad, except for the occasional birthday breakfast when I was younger, I know she will treasure those weeks together for the rest of her life.
Debra--Good luck packing!! I do not envy you that job at all! I'm not sure if Stephen answered you or not, but the Flying Pig is the first weekend in May. The 5K and 10K is on that Saturday and the half/full marathon is on that Sunday. It sounds like that's the same weekend as the Pittsburgh marathon.
Claire-Wanna hear a secret? I've never seen any of the Indiana Jones movies either.

Stephen bought the last one--
The Last Crusade maybe? and we turned it off about 45 minutes because I was so bored.

But for the record, I'm not a movie person and I can hardly sit through ANY movie, unless it's something that I really love or want to see.
Tracy--You got some great mileage in over the weekend! That picture of Stephen and I was taken at 'Ohana's about 5 hours after the marathon in 2007--that's why I look so beat!
Amy--I hope you are feeling better today and that you survived softball mania!
Aloha Jeff--Beautiful pictures like always! I hope you enjoyed time with your friends and that you don't wait another 13 years to see them again!
MiaBanda--Just ignore those people, seriously. I know how hard it is and how angry it makes you, but they really aren't worth your energy. I have a BIL like that, when I was training my first half in 2006, he had the nerve to tell me that since I do run/walk intervals than I wasn't really running.

So I challenged him to do my 8 mile LR with me. Guess who easily finished and who barely made it 2 miles. And guess who was completed 4 1/2 marathons and 1 full. I'll give you a hint, not him.

Hang in there!!!
Terri--Enjoy your vacation! I only have 227 days til Disney!!
Shaily--
As for me, not much to report. All of a sudden I feel like I am huge! Although when I went to the doctor's on Thursday, I had only gained 4lbs last month, so that made me happy! I hit 29 weeks yesterday, so 11ish weeks to go. Even though this has been an extremely easy pregnancy, I'm still ready for it to be over and meet this little guy. It still doesn't feel quite real, but I'm sure once I start getting those contractions, it's gonna feel real really quick!!!!
Good luck training and have a great week!
Krista
