That is awesome! You should be very proud of yourself. How many people can say they ran, wogged or walked 5 miles today??
Colleen - You are so sweet! WW has been wonderful for me. It is also easier to run with less weight so I feel faster (not sure if I am thoughprincessmomma said:Christa, you just look so great, you have inspired me to join WW. I have a half marathon coming up here in my hometown in 2 weeks, so after that I am joining WW and will try and drop some weight before I get into my heavy marathon training for Chicago.

Colleen I had forgotten that was you that suggested me to up the mileage from 2-3 miles. I remember my response, and not thinking I was ready. Whoo hoooo! Look at me now. It feels good.
OK, gotta run. Talk to you all soon.

Thanks for all of your support! Without you guys, I never ever would have thought that I could actually be a runner. Now I know that I can.![]()
Thank you all for so generously sharing your knowledge, your inspirational stories and your
- it has truly made a HUGE difference in my life!
This was my first Marathon. It was a tough race for sure, but I finished with a good overall time, not quite what I had hoped for though. I hoped to finish around 4:15-4:30. I hit "the wall" around mile 14 and was completely void of energy, desire to continue and hope. All I could do is walk for a while and take on Gu and a Energy Bar (a bit later on) to help give me the energy to continue. I bounced back pretty well and had a better 4th lap than my 3rd for sure. I had the BEST rooting section at the race with Cam, DS, and my friend (Mike) and his family.

Howard
Howard that is so great! Gotta hate the wall, but you overcame it and finished with a great time! I am so proud of you!
Not an easy thing, but it sounds like you had a great time. Oh and you have great stories! That is what it is all about!
we just vacationed twice in Tunisia and it would have been possible to go and see the area, but the guides at our club said that it's not worth it as it's just a stretch of desert.
crzy4mk/Michael, Scott, Christa, MelR, Amy, Monte/Monica, Colleen, Heather, Sunny, Jodi, Rhonda, Terri, Eric, and everyone else I might have forgotten. Boy it still feels good that I completed that race. That was a big goal for me.
That is so awesome that you finished your first marathon. Great time!!!! You did outstanding!
I'm really nervous about this. I just entered the WDW Full Marathon! As soon as I clicked to register, I wondered if it was the right decision. Ooooh, I hope it works out. I'm excited but very, very nervous about it.
and here is a special one just as a preview of your medal that will be hanging around your neck in Jan
You should try! Will it be easy? Probably not, but you will have such a feeling of accomplishment when you finish!
