Hee hee.
BTW, I got TKAM. To be honest this movie is getting on my nerves. For the first hour it's all about those annoying kids. Gregory Peck pretty much makes appearances. Then I have to say, if there is one thing I really abhor - it's prejudice. I didn't realize that's what this movie was all about. I haven't finished it yet since today was a rest day. I assume the end is the trial. Hopefully I'll get a little more eye candy, I mean Atticus.
Those coyotes were probably more afraid of you then you were of them. We often have them in the back yard. I think they are kinda cool. But I can see where they'd be frightening if you were out running. I'm usually looking at them from the deck.

Guess what, I'm not sore at all!
Okay, I got on the internet last night and looked around at some different running sites and I think I have IT band syndrome. Some of the symptoms of IT band syndrome are soreness on the outside of the knee to behind the knee and pain at the end of your run. Check and check. Causes of the IT band are: overuse and doing too much too soon and running on a crowned surface, such as on roads or a track. I took some time off from running after the 1/2 and just kind of jumped into my training again, so there's doing too much too soon, and if I'm not on a treadmill, I'm outside on the road (I ran on the road Tuesday when my knee hurt for the first time) and then I did my 5 miles on Saturday at the high school track. I've been icing my knee and taking ibuprofen and it feels fine right now, but I'm still going to take 3 days off from running and see if that helps.
) is very smart, right now he's in obedience training and personal protection. He's doing great in both, but it is kind of hard to take him seriously in protection when he's barking at the trainer and playing tug of war, practicing his bites and his tail is wagging like crazy!! He's going to be very happy next week, when we get our fence!!
Oh, and if you need a friend for Disney, I'd be more than happy to volunteer!!
I wore them Saturday night, they are very comfy, it actually felt like I wasn't wearing any shoes. I bought them for WDW, or any outdoor activity when I would normally wear gym shoes all day, I'm not big on wearing gym shoes all day, all the time, but my feet cannot take the World in sandals. I'm hoping Crocs are the solution! I'll let you know how they stand up when we go in May.
on your knees and training! I hope you are feeling better.

, not so good this last trip. I'm debating between crocs and those super duper hiking type sandals.
I was starting to feel it Friday so I laid low Saturday (save work) and rescheduled my long run for Sunday. That, of course, was not to be since I woke up feeling as though I had been run over by a four-wheeler and spent the day on the couch.
)

He's about 3' 10" and can't use many of the machines just yet... DS and I pretty much lived at the Y this weekend. I already told you about Friday night. Sat we did the family swim for 90 minutes. I was able to get in about 650 m of laps plus ~40 minutes of treading water while he jumped in the deep end WITH NO BUBBLES
Thanks Krista - Yeah, 4 miles is my furthest so far in this latest incarnation of my running. My knee's a little stiff today, but I think a rest day will help it. Your dog is very cute, and by the way - I am a huge, huge Steeler fan too from growing up in Pittsburgh in the 70's.Originally posted by alladinsgirl
Good job on your 4 miles. Is that the furthest you've ever gone?
Judy - you know, I don't have a digital camera. Which is silly because I always get CDs with the images of my pictures when I develop film. But I always have to wait for my film to be developed. Sorry, the movie is annoying you. I'll have to go back and watch it again. I can't say I remember much except that I liked Gregory Peck in it.Originally posted by honeibee:

Krista - Here you go!!!Dave--Pictures, we need pictures!!
We work out together (DH and me) at our local park that is a nice workout becuase you wind around through woods, up a hill, and back down. It affords nice changes and the ability to walk and then jog a bit. The hills are actually getting easier over time and the ankle/knee pain is slowing down.

Judy....sulking and pouting.
Letting me wander around the world showcase all by myself
visiting the formal gardens in Italy (which I've never seen) -- oh, wait, now I get it!
WHY should you go to Orlando to see the formal gardens when you'll be in Italy this summer!??
I've also decided I have to visit the knave church in Norway and check out the marketplace in Mexico -- and that's just the start of my list.
Come on, isn't that tempting? And just think -- you have 3 weeks to make arrangements for someone to take care of Mist and the other sweeties in your life.

out loud!
Glad you found us!! There is a lot of wisdom on these boards!!!
