Good morning TEAM!! Happy Hump Day. I'm not looking forward to this afternoon, I have a dentist appointment. I have a wonderful dentist, but I still hate going. Hopefully I won't have any cavities and I won't have to go back for another 6 months.

I had a pretty good workout at the Community Center, not as good as
Mike's (both
Mike's--they are both rocking and rolling!!), but it was good for me

I had a hair appointment at 6:30, since the Community Center is about a quarter mile from the salon, I stopped there to get some xt in. The only problem was traffic was horrendous last night and I didn't get to the Community Center until 5:45. I was planning on doing the stationary bike for 30 minutes and then lifting weights, but I had to cut my biking time to 20 minutes to get the weight lifting in. In 20 minutes I biked 4.75 miles with the resistance set at 3. I felt great about that! Especially since the guy next to me was barely pedaling, so it made me look like I was Lance Armstrong or something.

I only had time to do a couple of weights, I did 2 reps of 10 on the leg extension and then 2 reps of 10 on the leg curl. Tonight I have a 4 miler, but it may be on the treadmill as it is raining here.
Craig--WOW!!! Nice speed work!! I wish I had the discipline to do that. Actually, I planned on speed work training for the Pig, but with my recent IT band issues, I figured I better not push the envelop. For Chicago, I'm definitely doing speed work. I want to be fast too!!
Bill--I bet the nursery looks awesome. What does Billy think about the baby? Is he excited? Or a little jealous?
Mike/Optimator--That run sounds insane!!! I know how you feel, I do laps of my neighborhood and I get looks. I can get a 4 mile loop out of my neighborhood and the neighborhood we are connected to. During the short weekly runs, it's not bad, but the lr's--I get lots of waves from the people who see me 4 or 5 times. Sorry about your shoes. Good luck getting the right ones!

Dinner will be about 7:30.
Dave--Have you looked into get a massage? The massage therapist could probably work out any kinks or soreness. Have fun at the Open House!!
Cam--Do you want to hear something funny? I was reading the thread last night, but I was watching American Idol at the same time, so I was only half paying attention to what I was reading. I had it in my mind that your post was
Howard and I was trying to figure out why
Howard was calling
Craig a stud!!! It wasn't until this morning when I logged on and scrolled up to see what I missed when I realized it was
you calling
Craig a stud!!! You would think I would learn my lesson about scrolling!!!!

I agree with Bill, take off early today!!!
Judy--I am so sorry to hear about your friend. Wow. Are you still training even though your knee hurts? Or does it not hurt? Either way, be careful!!!
Kristi--Sounds like a fun day with your Mom. Hope you are both feeling better today!

I'll be thinking about you today.
Mike/GG--Be careful hanging with those kids!!!! They sound fast! That's why if I coached, I would do elementary kids, those are the only people I could beat. Them and senior citizens. Maybe.
Laurie--Great run!!!! I drink a lot when I run in the summer too. During the winter, a 12 oz water bottle can last over 6 miles for me, in the summer that same water bottle lasts just under 5. Congrats on your shut-out.
Jen--How is the

today? Feeling any better?
Leana--Did you watch AI? What the heck was Sanjaya thinking?

Did you hear Gwen Stefani say that song was an extremely difficult song to sing?? I don't think she is a fan.

Are you shoveling out up there in the Great North?
Kristin--Good luck on your 5 miler. Although I guess you've already done it since it's almost 10:00 Wednesday morning for me so it's what Wednesday night for you? This whole international time change thing is messing me up!!
Mel--Thanks for setting up the discount! Not that I *need* anymore running stuff, but I love to buy it!! I am so glad we have this "free" sport!!
Carrie--I hope you are still resting, young lady!
Stephanie--How is the knee? Still pain-free? The TM is harder for me to, I think because I know at any time I can stop and go upstairs where as if I'm running outside I may be a mile or 2 from home so even if I want to stop, I have to get home somehow! Might as well run to make it home faster!
Martha--Great job giving Craig a run for his money!!
I know I missed people, but I tried really hard.

Since I have to leave early, I better start working. What a dumb idea!!
