Good morning everyone!!

Glad to see that everyone is having great workouts. I went to the Community Center last night, did the bike for 30 minutes and then lifted. My legs are really starting to look like they have some muscle in them.

I talked to a man who ran Disney this past year (well, I talked and really he listened

), he was wearing his coolmax marathon shirt, that's how I knew he ran Disney. I don't just go up to people and asking them what marathons they've run. Although, I bet I would make a lot of new friends that way!
I have to tell you guys, I was looking at the Flying Pig website Tuesday night and I was getting SO excited!!!

I can't wait to run it. Looking at the pictures from last year, made me a little teary-eyed, seeing the runners and walkers and all the support lined up on the street. I've already decided what shirt I'm going to buy: "I'll Run a Marathon When Pigs Fly"--don't you love it!! But do you think it's good etiquette to buy a marathon shirt, when I'm running the half? There aren't any half shirts, just marathon shirts, but I don't want to walk around wearing a marathon shirt for a marathon I didn't technically run--marathon being 26.2 miles. What do you think?
Claire--Your posts make me laugh! You have so much enthusiasm and excitement--I love it!! I can't believe you ride your bike in flip flops, don't you cut your feet up? I think you should give
Crocs another chance, they are the BEST shoes ever.

So comfy!! I feel like I'm not wearing any shoes when I have them on. I do agree with you that red is a bit much, mine are chocolate--very low key.
Melissa--Have a good rest day! Reading about your trail adventures make me

. Good luck this weekend at Hogeye. Would you like a pig's nose, like they wear at the Flying Pig??
Papa Deuce--

Feel better!! Don't get down on yourself about training, your #1 priority now is to get healthy. Honestly, you have plenty of time to get your body ready for the Disney half. I signed up for the half last May, I never ran or walk long distances. I started just walking from May-July, usually 30-45 minutes on the week days and then 3-4 miles on the weekends. In July I started the MfM walking plan, I think I did the first 4 weeks of that program. In the middle of August, I started the MfM walk/run program, doing the first 7 weeks and then in October I started the MfM run/walk program, I did the entire training program for the half. I ran the half doing r4/w1 and finished in 2:41. You can do this!!!!
Kim--

on your 10-miler!! Did you do that on the treadmill too? The fact that you can do such high mileage on the treadmill is amazing. What do you do from not getting bored? Watch a movie??
Lynnda--Glad to see you back!!!
Jodi--You will LOVE your Garmin!!

I couldn't imagine training without one.
MdmMim--You got up at 6:30 to walk??!! Very impressive!! There must be a lot of morning people here. Not me! I'd rather stay up to midnight working out. (And then sleep all day

)
Mel--How is your foot?
Helen--Hope you feel better!! This may be a stupid question, but were you effected by those cyclones in Australia? I thought of you when I heard about them.
I better get back to work, we've almost made it to another weekend!!
