Greetings fellow racing team members -
This morning I did 45 min on the TM. 35 at 3.8 and 10 @ 4, all @ 1%.
Alright. I really don't even want to talk about this because I'm starting to sound like a hypochondriac, I know.

I went to the podiatrist yesterday and he said I have a Stage 2 bunion, which is the good news. It means ambulatory surgery and only -
only - four weeks in a surgical shoe.

Four weeks would be the minimum I would not be able to train. It would depend on the swelling, he said. He recommends I do it now and get it over with. If I wait there is a chance it could become a Stage 3, which would mean a different operation and six weeks in a cast.
I really don't want to do this.

Not only am I scared of the operation itself, but being in that damn shoe is SUCH an pain.

I've done it twice before, once for four weeks and once for six! As if that isn't enough, this means Charlie will have to do all the stable chores for at least a couple of weeks.
I suppose I should do it and get it over with so I am totally healed and ready to go in time for Half training.
And to add to all this loveliness, I had my second and may I say
extremely painful session of acupuncture for my tinnitus and it made it
WORSE!
Now the accupunturist thinks this is good news since it means what he did was effective but I am the one that now has to live with this jet engine in my ears 24/7. I'm just about ready to pull my hair out and scream. It has GOT to stop.
Karen - Did you get that sort of odd pinched nerve feeling in your leg too? Carrie sent me stretches and I'm going to start doing them right away. It has actually felt much better the past two days.
Cam - Excellent training!
Andrew - Your day off wears me out just reading about it.
Craig - WOW! That's some split! Excellent!
Vic - How long were you out of training just recently? I'll have to go at least a month and already I can't stand it.
Jackie - Ohh, isn't the view gorgeous from there?
Dave - Oh you are not at all self-centered! You've been keeping us so entertained! Wow, that's winter there? Holy cow, I can't imagine summer! Hey, uhh, Dave? Who took that last picture of you there with the coconut?
Kristi - Tell us or not, we're going to find it

and watch!
Shan - Hey that's pretty cool! Congratulation on your first 100!
Heather - If you learn anything in that class, can you teach me? We obviously will never starve but neither one of us is what you'd call a gourmet.
WWDave - Excellent work-out this morning!

Enjoy the audit!
