Hi Everyone!
I guess how Waldo's friend does will depend on what group he end up in. Groups 1 and 2 won't be so bad, but group 7 or 8 might be horrific. I will be thinking of you from the comfort of my air conditioned living room!
I am sitting here typing and looking at my outside temps. Its 8:20 am and the temp is already 94. Its going to be another scorcher!
I am in Forsyth where the watering restrictions just keep getting tighter. I don't get my 30 minutes of handwatering again until Tuesday. The grass is gone, but I am hoping to save a bush or two... We need a hurricane to come stall over Lake Lanier.

Waldo's friend is in at LEAST group 4. No time submission. Waldo is probably in 1A (he's fast) and I should be two or three. (Submitted time, but I am slow LOL!)
I haven't even checked to see what my current water restrictions are! I did wanter the pots and bushes yesterday, but with my travel I figure they will just have to arrest me. (I am not home on Tuesdays for example!)
Angie, you are being SO good. I am proud of you for taking today off! I know that's not your normal style!
Jeff, you and your wife are our "poster children" for good energy habits. She drives the hybrid and you bike to work... Look at all that gas you are saving. Should keep you from feeling guilty when you do drive the Tocoma.

. Since this running gig is still new to me, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for you between now and January.

. I hadn't heard of it either! It usually strikes people who already have psoriasis (which she doesn't), and who are 30-60 years old. It is similar to Rheumatoid Arthritis, and without treatment could have a pretty awful impact on her body. Right now it has shown up only in her fingers. Luckily we have caught it really early, her symptoms are pretty mild and joint damage is minimal. She needs to get on a medication immediately (methiprexate), and will need to stay on something for the rest of her life (unless they find a cure!). Because of the effect of the medication on your liver, we need to monitor her liver enzymes bi-monthly with a blood test.
for you and your daughter.
