Hello everyone!
For those new to us, we are a group of people who are planning to participate in walking/running events throughout the year. For most of us, the ultimate goal is to train and compete in the annual WDW Half/Full marathons. We'll also be posting news and training for various other events throughout the year. We range from beginners to triathletes. Come join us, whether you're training for an event or walking/running for fitness!

TigerLily03 said:New WISH Team members. If you read one thing over and over, believe this. Being part of this team is fantastic. Part of the ride you get for the event is what I call the roller coaster. There will be lots of ups and downs. The more you post here, the more you will find yourself enjoying the ride. It is an incredible journey. Don't be afraid, shy or whatever to come here and just post up anything. You don't have to know us right away, or all of us at all. You will get to know some of us. It makes the event you are enjoying have MORE meaning and we love to have you.
I feel like I haven't seen you in a while, I haven't been on this thread that much. Good job on the TM! Getting those miles in!

) Your getting the miles and time in - good for you! I'll send you some PixieDust for you first 5k. Just remember the 5k itself will be the easy part, the training for it is the hard part (IMO).
I think its neat that your helping your DD do the C25K and that she wants to do a 5K with you. (just an aside, I think its funny seeing younger kids in 5ks, some of them will sprint as fast as they can and then they walk or poop out and mom or dad has to keep encouraging them to keep going - good for you getting her into a PLAN I'm sure it will help her alot)
Sadly, there is no WDW in this trip, but we are headed to Sea World one day. I haven't been there since '96, so it should be lots of fun as well. I am hoping to do some walking in the early morning or early evening if I can squeeze it in with the visiting and socializing.
I have my priorities, ya know!
Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Have a great week guys.

The thing that hurts the worst is my ego. So, OK, back on the five days a week MFM training plan.
I think I better go back to the library and get some more Cary Grant movies That seems to work out better for me.
