Hello everyone!
For those new to us, we're a group of people who are planning to participate in walking/running events throughout the year. Some of us are training for the 2006 Disneyland Half and for the 2007 WDW Half/Full marathons. We'll also be posting news/training for various other events throughout the year. We range from non-running beginners to triathletes. Come join us, whether you're training for an event or walking/running for fitness!
Here's the Marathon FAQ, a great place to answer your marathon questions:

Good training everyone!
to Kimber (macrosswife) from AL! Are you planning the half or the full?
for healing your injuries.
I actually think it helped quite a bit, well... that an the antibiotics!! I am feeling much better now. The doc has me on 10 days worth of antibiotics this time instead of the three days worth he gave me for my last bout of strep 6 weeks ago. I guess he figured since the 3 days didn't kill it completely that 10 days should definatley do the trick!!
You should be very proud!
Have a great week everyone!
I just registered!
I just couldn't commit to the full right now & she wouldnt be able to do it with me. We are going to be staying offsite in a great house with heated pool & game room so the kids will have a blast. Nieces, DH & DS8 will be doing the 5k again. Its becoming a great family tradition. We hardly ever get to see my nieces so this is great for them to do this together.
I know we wont go to a park, but we can still have a party!
All I was thinking after that was "how am I going to fight that thing off if it's rabid or something and comes back for me?!" I protected myself by going to the other side of the road. Like that's going to help.
