Sunny- Your story of the ice bath just had me laughing. I'm glad you can laugh about it all because I remember what a serious condition you said you were in after the full.
Christa- Definitely do the 100 mile bike ride. It sounds like a blast. Just make sure you take lots of pictures and share them with us.
Erica- I'm so sorry to hear about the death of your dog. How devastating. I wish you all the best.
Jim- I like the image of you running bowlegged because of your horse riding. You might want to talk to
Judy to see how she fits the horse cross training into her schedule.
Maria- I brought the whole family to the marathon last year. DW, DD6

, DD9

, and my sister-in-law (Cool Aunt) to help watch the kids while I ran. In fact, DD9 had her 9th birthday at MK the day before the marathon. If I can run the Disney Marathon in '08, I think it will either be DW and I going ourselves (with someone to come watch the girls at home), or I may try to go for a solo trip. I don't think we can afford to bring the whole family on another trip, and I don't want to take the kids out of school again. Although we did take DD9 out of 3rd grade and DD6 out of kindergarten for a few days, I don't think I want to do it every year.
Bill- Sounds like a pretty good run for just getting over a cold too. What half marathon are you running in March? Is it the same one that
Mel/Chimera is running?
Heather- CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That is an awesome run! WTG! Heather, the idea of using the marathon weekend as a romantic weekend sounds fantastic. Maybe I can convince DW of that too. Just gotta get these bills paid off...
Cam- I'm excited for your Polar Dip at Rehobeth Beach. I wish we were down there visiting my parents, and I could see you and your family do this in person. Good luck, and give my best to
Howard. Great job with the 5K. You're really doing well!
Mike- You gotta get up early to catch up with all the posts. Forget getting up early to run. I have to get up early to visit with my team mates. Nice job on the 4 mile run.
Carole- That's a great walk. 3 miles at 15 mpm pace, that's fantastic!!!
Jackie- You need to get one of those book holders and put it on the display of your TM, and then you can prop your laptop up on that. There you go, training and catching up with your team mates.
AbraCat- Welcome to the team! I do yoga once a week on Friday. I have never had great flexibility, and it's great to have an exercise session that focuses just on stretching, etc. I find it's great to get all stretched out before my LR on Saturdays. Plus, I love that last 10-15 min of class where we lie on our backs with our eyes closed. My favorite part!
