Good morning Team... I am at work and we are really short staffed. It seems that people are either sick or on vacation. So I am not sure if I will be able to run to the Y at lunch and get in a work out. POOOO...
I am feeling better this morning, still some tummy ache and a headache. I drank a little coffee and took some Tylenol with hopes it will help the headache. I have a conference call in a bit, and then will see if I can slip out to the Y... fingers crossed. I am usually the one stuck pulling the slack since I am a "higher up".
Congrats to everyone that got in their training runs or races. I did a measly 35 minutes on the treadmill on Saturday. I wanted to do at least 4 miles on Sunday, but with my tummy bug it didn't happen. Today I think I will cross train if I can get to the Y, otherwise I will try to hit the TM when I get home. I also run out of time at night now that we are doing extra work with DD6's reading. Not that I am complaining because I really don't want her to fall behind... it is just one more thing that eats at my time. I guess I will just have to give up the household chores!!!
Stephanie - Yikes... I hope you get better soon!!!
Krista - I was wondering where you have been!!
MelR - Awesome on finishing. I hope your knee feels better soon. I would have freaked if I had to wade through water!!!
Jim - Great race!!! For some reason I want to call you Scuba Steve!
Have a great day all... I am off to my conference call.

Did you happen to get a picture of you prior to the race in all the gear? I have this mental image of socks dangling off your hands and the sleeve on your head....hee hee
Hoe the knee heals quickly.
I promise, I will try to do better!!!!!
Need to get DH, BIL, sis, and any other crazy person to commit with me!
Way to go! Congrats on the awesome time! Happy Anniversary, too!
I'm thinking about maybe trying to just do an easy walk tonight, but we'll see. Don't want to push it too hard and end up even more sore.
he became very interested.....maybe I can recruit him for the run!

At least today I could walk in daylight and the streets are finally cleared off. Today, I took Fairbanks (our Siberian Huskey) with me. She loves this weather and she keeps me moving at a good pace.
