Hellooooooo my fellow WISHers!!!
** WARNING WARNING **
Some of you may want to look away....
TWO WEEKS UNTIL THE WDW HALF MARATHON!!!!
OK everyone can come back now, it wasn't really that scary was it???
Allyson: Hope you survived the 10 on the dreadmill. Let us know if you survived w/o going insane. If we don't hear back from you we can only think the worst happened. If I think it is going to rain during a rain I bring along one of those folding up desposable rain poncho things in my fanny pack and if possible a dry set of socks. I just really try to GLIDE my feet really well which seems to help some.
Tricia: So sad you weren't feeling well this morning to get out there. Weather was nice at the beach, not too hot and breezy and plenty of clouds to hide the sun.
Shan: Glad to hear your sinuses are clearing up. You got your run in and now taper!! Yeah you!!
Maura: Wow - girl. You and those long drives. I hope you don't have to do that very often.
AFM: I decided for some strange reason yesterday that I would go to the beach this morning for 4 mile walk. (Plus take some photos for Christ - hehe)
So, I got up and out the door at 6:40am to get to the beach around the time the sun was rising (7:07am). Parked and put money in the meter. Found the broadwalk around out side the park that I parked next to...
Here is the start of the path through the seagrapes...
Now onto the main area where the hotels and restaurants are...
Trying to get a photo of the sun, way to many clouds for that!!
One of the "bigger" hotels along Hollywood Beach. Positano.
Still big hunka clouds in the way...
Some sites of the boardwalk...
Well, sorry I couldn't get anything better. I was sooooo windy and the waves were just crashing up a storm. (rip tides warnings were out) Temps around 75 when I was out there. I may do this again. I enjoyed my 4 miles along the ocean.
Wind blown Tapering Tracy...
